The project
La Villa L’Île Verte is the result of an ambitious renovation and transformation project, born from the vision of a globe-trotting entrepreneur accustomed to the highest international standards and deeply attached to his native Provence and Mediterranean roots. His ambition was to create a refined retreat, a true haven of peace where Mediterranean authenticity, the art of living and contemporary luxury come together naturally. Conceived as both an exceptional private residence and a destination in its own right, the property blends timeless elegance with modern comfort, while incorporating a state-of-the-art business center originally designed for the owner's professional needs.

The Monte-Cristo Passage.

At the heart of the estate lies a singular space that bears witness to the site’s history. Built within thick walls dating back to the Second World War, this area once served as a military landing point and formed part of the German army’s coastal patrol route overlooking the Mediterranean shoreline. Renamed “The Monte Cristo Passage”, it has been carefully preserved not as a frozen relic of the past, but as a place thoughtfully reinterpreted with respect for its heritage. Today, transformed into a private and direct access to the sea, this unique passage embodies both memory and experience. It reflects a renewed vision of the estate, one that honors its history while opening onto the horizon, where heritage, tranquility and the Mediterranean art of living meet naturally. At the heart of the property, a singular space bears witness to the site’s history. This room, set within thick walls inherited from the Second World War, once served as a landing point for military equipment and formed part of the German army’s patrol path along the coastline; it has since been renamed “The Monte-Cristo Passage”.
